Welcome to your new pageant family!

This program was started to personally work one on one with ladies of all ages. Pageants "R" Us wants to be able to provide for the girls a positive outlet and build their confidence all together. The Pageants "R" Us company is dedicated to unlocking the potential of young girls of all ethnic groups while producing positive role models for the community. We also take pride in developing young women that will promote self confidence, self worth, moral, academic and social support for the youth. We provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices in culture, politics while also encouraging community involvement. This organization provides a forum for young ladies to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments to audiences during their reigning year and beyond!!

Greetings to all!We are offering a year round special of entering 3 pageants consecutively and enter the 4th for FREE! That's right, FREE! Your 2nd and 3rd pageant entry fee will be discounted. After your free pageant (should your child not win) , the cycle will start over. If we do not have enough contestants to hold a pageant, we will allow the prizes to be bought on a first come first serve basis for $60. Let your outfit be fun and fit your personality. (Ex: a little girl had her mom wheel her out in a big lollipop box and she was the sweet candy inside that came out, did her fun wear walk and exited the stage back inside the box.) Have fun with it.Young girls may wear LITTLE makeup, but please no flippers, false eyelashes or anything of that nature. We still want to be able to see the sweet little girl that she is. Juniors, Teens, Miss and up may wear makeup to suit your age. Evening Gown 60%- This is your chance to shine on stage and make the judges want YOU! Good advice for your gown would be to choose a gown where the color compliments your skin tone and makes you stand out even more. Don't choose a dress that makes you look washed out. (Ex: If you're extremely pale, don't go for a white gown. The stage lights will wash you out. If your dark, go for bright colors to pop against you.) Your walk should be of grace and poise. Be natural and comfortable. The stage is yours to command! Optionals: Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Eyes will be awarded in each division. The winner of each optional will NOT be the determining factor on who is crowned queen. Free of ChargePhotogenic: Photogenic will be awarded to one girl from each division. This category has no bearing on the overall winner. Photogenic is $5 (each) to enter and you may enter more than one photo. DO NOT MAIL PHOTOS Bring to registration.Talent: This optional will be awarded to one girl out of each age division that enters. Talent fees are $10. Talent MUST be no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is to keep the pageant from running too long. Talent Scores has no bearing on the winning score. Contestants will be judged on poise, stage presence, personality, and originality. (For singers, please no lip singing.)People's Choice: Everyone is eligible for this title. Votes are $1 each so start collecting now and you will still be able to collect money all the way up to the day of the pageant. Tavia Thurmond is a native of Winder, Ga who has been involved in the pageant industry for over 16 years – the most recent years have been dedicated to coaching, judging, and consulting. During her 4 years at Georgia Southern University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Small Business and Entrepreneurship, she started coaching and consulting in the South Georgia area. As an independent pageant consultant, Tavia continues to help young girls and women prepare for their pageant careers.Combining her experience as a former competitor, make-up artist and fashion consultant with her university background in business, Miss Thurmond has spent a great amount of time building a consultant firm. Her company, Take Home the Tiara specializes in interview and modeling skills, and cosmetology care..Tavia currently lives in Buford, Ga.
